Taking children out into the community to make Art and encouraging the community to take part is a wonderful thing to do. A variety of Art Making projects will be presented during this workshop that will be easy to organise, very manageable, engaging and visually stunning. We will also explore the process of creating a community mosaic. Together we will create a design which will be divided into sections and worked individually into a mosaic. The technique used will allow the mosaic to be laid upon a wall or around a water tank or along a fence. Art and Art Making is a wonderful way to connect a school with its community and its community with its school. If it is easy and fun then even the most reluctant artist will become involved.
