Assessment for the Victorian Essential Learning Standards requires a mix of summative assessment of learning to determine what the student has achieved, formative assessment to inform the next stage of learning that will occur, and ongoing assessment which focuses on teacher feedback alongside student reflection and self-assessment.”

Assessment of Visual Arts doesn’t need to be hard; we just need to be smarter. During this workshop we will look at assessment in terms of: Why, What, How, When and Where. We will discuss strategies and tools for assessment and the management of data collection. Using the Water Australian Art Pack we will create and assess art works with the development of line, shape and colour as a focus.
