Engaging the School and Community in Drawing. This workshop will provide teachers with strategies that will build confidence in drawing skills for themselves and their students. We will start with our local buildings and the lines that surround us. We will explore and develop different strategies that encourage students and our community to come together through drawing. We will take one small line, one small image or one small drawing and make it into something big, bold and very “Zartarty.” The ideas that we explore can be used in the class, with the whole school or the whole community. Ideas that can be part of the Big Draw or part of your own schools celebrations, or just a wonderful unit to develop with your students.
