Description

Art projects are a wonderful way to bring the school community together. An art project can involve the whole school, students, staff, parents and friends and Art projects build community pride. This workshop aims to provide support, ideas and strategies for teachers that are overwhelmed, time poor and looking for great ideas that will be manageable and work. Maria’s passion for developing an art culture in her own school will make this workshop real and one that teachers will feel confident to be able instigate ideas back at their schools. Participants will explore murals, mosaics, sculptures and painting. The Art will look fabulous inside and outside your school. Maria will also suggest how to include the wider school community, how to do the project without a grant, what materials work, what to think about, and how to make the Art Project look amazing.
