“2 Day Art Teachers Escape/Adventure”
Join Pamela Irving in a 2 day workshop making a three dimensional sculpture and then covering the piece with mosaics.
The work will be created using chicken wire and other objects covered with the fabulous Zart Paper Mix, often used by Pamela in her interior pieces.
Once the forms are finished participants will learn how to mosaic over a three dimensional form.
The workshop is suitable for Primary and Secondary Art Teachers to take back to the classroom.
The workshop is over two days and a ceiling of 18 participants.
This will enable participants the ability to spread out and create something substantial and challenging.

In this 2 day workshop you will be inspired by Pamela’s recent trips to Turkey and even more recently Russia. Pamela has just returned from St Petersburg where she was commissioned to make a series of small sculptures for a major mosaic exhibition to be held in Moscow in April 2009 the works will also be shown later in the year in Shanghai, China and Ravenna, Italy

This 450 page e book is filled with how-to information, inspiration, techniques as well as putting Pamela’s work in an historical context of Australian ceramics.
The e book is designed for teachers to print off sections as they find necessary.
Zart are recommending this resource for both Primary and Secondary teachers.
