Procion Dye Design & Decoration

Participants will learn simple dye recipes and techniques to create a professional looking fabric which may be used for fashion, quilting, collage and 3D sculptures.
The Procion dyes are a commercial quality dye which will ensure the best results on cottons and silks. Participants will learn how to make up dye baths for both lengths and multi coloured fabrics.
They will also learn about hand painting on both cotton and silk using the Procion Dyes.

Zart Education can come out to your school to present one of our workshop modules at a time that suits you. Cathy Price is available to present 3 different modules that focus on your curriculum related to VELS. Tania Di Berardino will work with you and your staff with hands-on Art and Craft technique workshops (see below). Please ring Jan on 03 9890 1867 for conditions and costs associated with each module and to arrange a date and time that best suits. Available for Metropolitan Melbourne and Geelong schools only unless a suitable arrangement can be negotiated for country Victorian schools. Workshops approximately 1–2 hour duration.
