Description

If you love to display your students’ work but need some fresh ideas this workshop is for you. We will explore display ideas that are quick, novel and complement the students’ works. We will address issues of limited wall space and find effective ways of exhibiting 3D work using common furniture found in your schools.
This workshop is full of brilliant display ideas for you to try back at your school. Your students’ work will look fabulous; the school’s spirit will be lifted as the joy of the students’ displayed work reaches its audience. The focus of this display workshop will be linking art with Australian History. Working with collage and mixed media, participants will be able to explore many possibilities of art making to represent our knowledge of historic events.
This workshop is a must for Art teachers, classroom teachers and for schools preparing for the National History Curriculum. Making Art about Australia will have your students excited about Art and Australia’s past, present and future.
