London Olympic Games Workshops

Workshop Name

London Olympic Games

Levels

1-4

Description

The Modern Olympic Games is still in essence about the best athletes competing to win titles; however, enveloping this sporting event is a celebration of a city and a culture. When the Opening Ceremony on July 27, 2012 heralds the start of the London Olympic Games, it will be an opportunity for London to showcase itself as one of the most diverse, dynamic and intriguing cities in the world. With this in mind these hands-on workshops will embrace the diversity of London through the visual arts in celebration of the Olympic Games. The activities will encompass different media and skill levels to suit classroom, library and art teachers.
