Description

Create a Claymation film (stop motion animation), and discover how easy it is to implement an animation into your class curriculum using the animation software Stop Motion Pro. Construct a simple set with a lake, trees, sky and clouds that will be made for the purpose of adding motion to. Participants will learn, and then construct a plasticine character to animate. Other skills and knowledge to be covered will be the use of storyboards, animation principles, production timelines and group tasks. Participants are required to bring a laptop to class with a copy of the software Stop Motion Pro that is pre-installed on the unit.
Stop Motion Pro is a software tool for making animated films. It requires a video camera, webcam or digital still camera and is compatible with Win XP, Vista or Windows 7. A single licence will be included in the cost of the workshop and posted out for installation, if required.
