Description	The aim of this workshop is to show, through demonstrations, a number of ways a painting is begun and the transitional stages that lead to a finished painting. There will be discussions on palette preparation, colour, mediums, brushes, the simplicity behind something that seems visually complex, and the relationship between technique and the ideas behind the image. The technical and conceptual aspects of this workshop will provide a broad foundation on which to development one’s future art practice.
