Welcome to Zart


At Zart Art we have a students' art gallery which features the art works of primary and secondary students from around Victoria. The gallery was set up to provide students with an opportunity to have their art works valued and displayed in a 'real, art gallery. We believe students should learn to appreciate the art works of their contemporaries and place their own art works within a wider context. Each term the displays are changed so that as many individuals as possible have the opportunity to have their work viewed by others. Students, their parents and teachers are welcome to visit the gallery. 	We also offer to primary schools an excursion program. This program is designed to give students the opportunity to come and visit our gallery and spend some time viewing and creating art. The two hour visit includes a walk through the gallery looking and talking about the art on display in small groups, followed by a fun art lesson to help students understand the process of art making.
