Can you catch a mermaid?

• Inspired by Jane Ray’s stunning book ‘Can you catch a Mermaid’ Grade 1/2  drew a crayon mermaid with swirling sea patterns on her body, and added a pearl studded mirror made from gold and silver paper.
• The mermaids were sponged with turquoise and aqua food dye powder paint, and used green and gold glitter paint to detail her hair.
