Impressionist Paintings

How To:

• Students studied Australian artists represented in a new Gallery, Tarrawarra Museum of Art.
• Some of the artists studied included Fred Williams, Arthur Boyd, Brett Whitely, Sidney Nolan, Joy Hester, Howard Arkley and Margaret Preston.
• Materials used were Chromacryl Paint, Posca pens, sponges and small pieces of cardboard for printing, oil pastels, patterned papers and Signo Uniball white pens.
• Resources were prints, books and the internet
• Students experimented with the varying styles of the artists.
