How To:
-
Students studied the history of Rock’n’Roll posters. We discussed their role as a promotional tool to attract youth to their concerts.
-
The students produced four different designs and selected one for their final piece. They experimented with a range of materials to achieve the most effective result.
- The Mungyo pastels proved very popular alongside the Koh-i-noor watercolours and collage techniques.
- They were encouraged to use a selection of photos if appropriate to their overall design.
- This topic was initially planned for three one hour sessions. It ran to six, with the students absolutely enthralled with their individual pieces.
