How To:

  • Sea-water colours of green, blue and white were poured onto the students paper. This was spread with their fingers and then used scraper boards to make turbulance in the water.
  • Students were asked to to draw fish and the shapes were used to make foam forms with which students printed their fish in orange-red.
  • The form was coated with paint, transfered onto the watery paper and then squidged the paint onto paper.
  • Glue was mixed with the paint so that students could apply their own design to the fish's body using silver, gold yellow cellophane, white wool and glitter.
  • Bubbles were then printed around the fish.
