Students were asked to create images using shapes, to produce the illusion of  both distance and movement.

Discussion centred around the techniques of overlapping shapes, diminishing sizes and the use of horizons to create the illusion of distance.

The use of curves and placement of shapes at different angles was discussed in relation to the illusion of movement.

Colour theory was considered when choosing the best coloured paper to suit the colour of the ink mixed.
