How To:

• The work is from Year 8 students and it is from a unit we call 'Initial Artists'.
• The unit is a way of introducing the students to the world of artists and what we do is ask them to find an artist who has the same last initial as them.
• The students then chose an artwork and duplicate the work in the shape of that initial.
• The unit not only lets them learn about a famous artist but it teaches them about composition and it gives them a chance to learn the techniques that that artists uses.
• Most of the works were completed using paint or pastels and they are approximately A2 in size.
