How To:

Padded Shape Animals

• Students were required to design an animal using a circle or oval as a starting point.
• Students looked at simple line designs for ideas.
• The circle/oval was cut from felt and stitched around the edge with running stitch onto a Hessian Background, leaving a gap for the wadding and then sewed it up.
• Students sewed, glued, painted and weaved on any decorative detail they wished to complete the design.
