The study of Greek Architecture and Relief Carving
Year 1 & 2

• Students studied the form and textures of relief carving and gained an insight into the laborious task of creating these works
• They gained an understanding of the History of the time and the stories that are told through these carvings
• They used Polystyrene to create the relief and covered the form with tissue paper.
• Rub 'n' buff was then used to polish the raised surface
