Paper Ribbon Christmas Tree

Materials:

20 cm Polystyrene Cone or Cardboard Cone (18 cm), Mesh Tissue or Stripes Display Paper, Zart School Colours Paint green, Brush or sponge, Pins, Tape/glue/stapler, Scissors, Curling Ribbon (red & white) & Tinsel Stem

How to Make a Paper Ribbon Christmas Tree:

1. Paint a cone with green paint. Set aside to dry.

2. Cut Honeycomb or Stripes Paper into equal lengths – approximately 14 cm long.

3. Loop each strip in half and glue or staple the ends together.

4. Push a pin through each loop into the Polystyrene Cone or glue them on to the Cardboard Cone. Begin at the base of the shape and work in rows around and up the cone.

5. Make Curling Ribbon curls and glue these between the loops at intervals.

6. Decorate the top of the tree with a star made from a Tinsel Stem.
