My Memory Box

Suitable for:

Primary levels

Materials:

Papier Mache Utility Box, Calico Doll, Zart School Colour Paint, Decorative Papers, Paper Magiclay, Zart Glue Stick, Supertac & found objects

How to Make a Memory Box:

1. Paint the Papier Mache Utility Box with Zart School Colours Paint and allow to dry.

2. Decorate the inside of the Utility Box by painting each section in bright colours or gluing some Decorative Papers inside.

3. Cut off the legs, arms and head of a Calico Doll and adhere to the Papier Mache Utility Box with Supertac.

4. Create clothing for the doll by decorating with Papers etc.

5. Model/collage some objects which are special to your life e.g. surfboard, basketball, medal. Make a little book that represents your years at Primary School.

6. Collect some trinkets of your own which represent special memories, special people and places you visited.

7. Glue all objects in place within the Papier Mache Utility Box.
