Sequins

1. Glue one end of Tinsel String to the inside of a Fibre Cone and wind the string around the cone in a spiral action down the cone.

2. Secure the end with glue inside the cone.

3. Glue seed beads or sequins around the cone.

Fibre Stars

1. Tie a knot into the end of a threaded needle and sew into the star until the thread is secure.

2. Thread three Bugle Beads onto the sewing thread, and sew a stitch into the star. Thread another three Bugle Beads on and secure with a stitch into the star. Follow the outline of the star with this threading and sewing action until the shape is complete.

3. Repeat this with Seed Beads in a line around the shape.

4. Moving towards the centre of the star do a running stitch of Metallic Yarn parallel to the lines of Bugle Beads and Seed Beads.

5. Finish off with a line of Seed Beads forming a star shape in the centre of the Fibre Star.

Fibre Filagree Stars

1. Tie a length of Metallic Yarn to the tip of one of the points of the star.

2. Wind the Metallic Yarn around the point from side to side, working towards the centre of the star.

3. Tie a knot to secure the Metallic Yarn to the back of the star.

4. Start at another point and repeat this action until all star points are wound in Metallic Yarn.

5. Glue Sequins to the centre of the star.

6. Attach a loop of ribbon to the star for hanging. Fibre decorations — Cones & Stars
