Poly Easter Eggs

Suitable for:

Levels/Age Group: Ages 5-12

 

Poly Easter Egg 1

Materials:

Poly Egg 75 mm
Shimmer Paint
Posca Markers
Satin Ribbon
Lill Pins

How to make Poly Easter Egg 1:

  1. Paint a Poly Egg with Shimmer Paint, using different blocks of colour to completely cover the shape.
  2. When dry, use Posca Pens to draw lines of colour over the painted surface.
  3. Pin a loop of Satin Ribbon to the egg to act as a hanger.

 

 

 

Poly Easter Egg 2

Materials

Poly Egg 75 mm
Tissue Paper
PVA
Satin Ribbon
Lill Pins

How to make Poly Easter Egg 2:

  1. Use up all your scraps of Tissue Paper to cover a Poly Egg with strips of coloured paper. Use a mix of PVA and water to adhere the Tissue Paper to the egg. Overlay the coloured strips to create an interesting pattern.
  2. Pin a loop of Satin Ribbon to the egg to act as a hanger.

 

 


Poly Easter Egg 3

Materials

Poly Egg 75 mm
Shimmer Paint
Sequins in a Jar
Quilling Paper
Satin Ribbon
Pearl Pins
PVA

How to make Poly Easter Egg 3:

  1. Paint a Poly Egg with Shimmer Paint and set aside to dry.
  2. Use a mix of PVA and water to adhere strips of Quilling Paper to the coloured egg. Overlap different coloured strips to create an interesting design.
  3. Use Pearl Pins to pin sequins on and around the decorated egg.
  4. Pin a loop of Satin Ribbon to the egg to act as a hanger.
