Dragonfly Activity
Paper Magiclay Dragonfly
Suitable for:
Primary levels
Materials:
Paper Magiclay, Acetate, Rubbing Plate, Shimmer Paint, Glitter, Skeleton Leaves, Food Dye, Hot Glue Gun & Craft Aluminium Wire
How to Make a Paper Magiclay Dragonfly:
1. Roll out a ball of Paper Magiclay between two sheets of Acetate.
2. Press the sheet of Magiclay down on to a Rubbing Plate and roll over the Magiclay to pick up the texture of the plate.
3. Peel off the sheet of Magiclay and allow to dry overnight.
4. Use scissors to cut out a dragonfly shape.
5. Paint the shape with Shimmer Paint and sprinkle over Glitter.
6. When dry add legs and antennae of Craft Aluminium Wire and dyed Skeleton Leaves for wings.
7. Glue beads on for eyes.
